I am sending you this note to let you know how pleased we are with all that you have done for our company. The individuals who have attended your classes have been raving about the results, and the work you have done with our shareholders has produced some amazing outcomes.

You were able to take some delicate topics among the shareholders, remove the tension and create an environment for open and honest communication. This led to our being able to resolve some issues that were undermining our success.

In addition, the all day firm retreat you hosted which detailed the new accountabilities in our firm, and the new compensation structure for the accountants was a huge success. The processes that you set up for all of us to participate in to learn teamwork, were not only fun, but also enlightening. Not only were we able to communicate these new ideas, it offered us the opportunity to find out about other areas of concern without a threatening environment for the staff.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you, Rick and Linda for the Fabulous Firewalk class you put on for our company on January 14, 1998. Since that time, people in this company have shown that they can absolutely do anything, if they put their minds to it.

The pictures are at the framing shop, so that we can hang them on the wall we have dedicated to the Firewalk class. They will serve as a reminder of everyone's accomplishments. Thank you very much for the opportunity to see inside me. this last weekend was powerful, and I learned quite a bit about myself. I have to tell you, going into the weekend I thought it was going to be just another leadership training course, where the participants are lectured to for a weekend about what qualities make a good leader. I went because our firm "highly suggests" it for promotion but I was amazed at how different (extremely better) it is from other leadership courses.

So often in our trade, Certified Public Accountants are evaluated by their supervisors and their clients not on how they perform their job, but the end result of that job. It was refreshing to learn that we are "allowed" to show passion and enthusiasm for our work as well as preparing quality work.

The changes in my life are already evident. I gave a speech to a breakfast group I attend on the Wednesday following the course. I tell you, I have never received such compliments on my speaking ability before! It was not what I said, but how I said it that made the difference. It may sound strange to outsiders, but my friends and family have even noticed a difference in who I am.

I have already recommended this course to several of my friends and business associates, and would enthusiastically recommend this course to anyone just going through life "good enough". There is too much life to just let it pass you by.
